Spain

We've been back for a week and I still can't seem to process everything we saw and experienced, enough to make a very detailed post about it. But I will soon. In the meantime.... Please enjoy a few pictures. I will also get most of the pictures uploaded to my flickr account soon too, so I'll post the link once that is done.

In short...We had a fabulous time. The white villages of Southern Spain were beautiful and charming enough that this city girl may decide to retire to one someday.
The weather was damn near perfect. The countryside was some of the most beautiful landscape I have ever seen.
The people were very kind and patient. And the food... well... let's just say I've eaten enough jamon y queso to last me for quite some time. As a person who doesn't really love pig meat.... I ate way too much of it. Michael woild argue the opposite and was very sad to see that there weren't legs of ham hanging at our local King Sooper's deli counter like in the picture below.

We had some minor issues navigating the very very narrow streets (they were definitely not meant for cars. Many time we were engaged in a standoff in which someone has to back up in order to get through, as you can see in the picture, we had to bend in both of the side-view mirrors to get through.)

And finally we got to be goofy as always....
Please stay tuned.... More to come.
